
With a solid brand presence in New Zealand and Australia Trilogy was ready to enter the international scene. John was responsible for negotiating and appointing distribution partners; opening 12 new international markets. He would work closely with the distributors working through the registration process and then help and support them to grow the brand. During the 6 years, as International Business Manager, John increased the number of markets from 4 to 16 (with a clear focus on Asia); entering Japan, Korea, China (online), Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. Outside of Asia John also took the brand into the USA, Denmark, Norway, Slovenia, Peru and Turkey. Over this time, John grew the brand sales from $300,000 per year to over $4 million.
